What Is Business Continuity?
Business continuity is the ability of an organization to maintain essential functions during, as well as after, a disaster has occurred. Disasters – natural or by humans; fire, weather, cyber attack, systems failure and human error – happen to all, at some point in time. Disaster recovery, or the ability of a business to continue running during and after a disaster, is a key part of business continuity. Planning, Recovery, Management, Operation, Procedures, RTO, RPO are some elements that are required to be defined.
